Excellent progress is being made in finalizing the book and we are very grateful to the many photographers who are kindly continuing to submit images. We now have fantastic photographs of over 500 of the 575 species that are currently categorized as Critically Endangered (189), Endangered (382) or Extinct in the Wild (4). There are about 70 species that we believe have not been photographed to a publishable standard and these are currently being painted by the remarkably talented artist Tomasz Cofta. We are, however, still seeking additional images of 17 species. These are listed below and if you are able to help by contributing photographs of any of these species we would be delighted to hear from you. Please submit your images using the upload screen (click here). We would, of course, also welcome additional images of any of the other species covered by The World's Rarest Birds initiative.
