Excellent progress is being made in compiling the book and we are very grateful to the many photographers who are kindly continuing to submit images. We now have fantastic photographs of 475 of the 575 species that are categorized as Critically Endangered (189), Endangered (382) or Extinct in the Wild (4). There are 74 species which we believe have not been photographed to a publishable standard and these are currenlty being painted by the ramarkably talented artist Tomasz Cofta. That leaves 26 species for which we are aware images exist, but which we have not yet been able to obtain, or for which we believe the images could be improved. These are listed below and if you are able to help by contributing photographs of any of these species we would be delighted to hear from you. Please submit your images using the upload screen (click here). We would, of course, also welcome additional images of any of the other species covered by The World's Rarest Birds intitaitive.
